We are AS9100 certified and serve a variety of industries including aerospace, defense, robotics, medical device, firearm and animatronics. We work in a wide variety of materials including exotic alloys, and plastics. We are seeking a manufacturing engineer with hands-on experience in an aerospace CNC machining environment.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Hands-on experience with CNC machining including 5-axis milling, multi-tasking turning, wire EDM, grinding and metal finishing.
  • Experience with CNC programming strongly preferred (GibbsCAM, Mastercam, Fusion360, NX)
  • Develop Machining Strategies
  • Design Work-Holding Fixtures
  • Support Production and First Article Inspection (FAI)
  • Own all technical aspects of assigned components and or processes from initial concept through all manufacturing stages.
  • Identify, develop and implement tooling/equipment and process improvements.
  • Troubleshoot process/production problems and implement actions/solutions, monitor sustainability of actions and report out results.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • BS Engineering Mechanical, Industrial or Aerospace) preferred
  • 5-10 years prior manufacturing experience, aerospace experience preferred
  • Experience with CNC programming strongly preferred (GibbsCAM, NX, Mastercam, Fusion360)
  • Familiar with all aspects of inspection, GD&T, interpretation of engineering drawings and manufacturing specifications
