Laser Marking and Laser Cutting

ZYCI uses high-end fiber laser technology to provide precise laser marking services for a wide range of applications at our facility in Atlanta, Georgia. Laser marking is an elegant way to permanently mark part numbers, serial numbers, logos, instructions, warnings, etc. Laser marking is much preferred as opposed to impact or dot peen marking. Since laser marking is lightly etching the surface it does not create the stresses in the part inherent with impact and mechanical marking. Laser marking is often also referred to as laser etching and laser engraving. ZYCI also provides laser cutting services. Laser cutting is an excellent and efficient way to cut 2D parts from a variety of materials including aluminum, steel, brass, plastic and a host of other materials. Tolerances can be as close as +/-.003" on 2D profiles. Up to 1/2" thick steel can be laser cut. We need a 3D model or a 2D vector file (DXF or similar format) in order to program the laser to make your parts.
