Laser Marking for Manufactured Parts

Laser marking, sometimes referred to as laser engraving is often used to mark metal parts with part numbers, logos, instructions or warnings.  Often these are parts that have been machined, stamped, cast or metal additive manufactured (3-d printed). ZYCI uses high-end fiber laser technology to provide precise laser marking services for a wide range of applications at our facility in Atlanta, Georgia. Laser marking is an elegant way to permanently mark part numbers, serial numbers, logos, instructions, warnings, etc. Laser marking is much preferred as opposed to impact or dot peen marking. Since laser marking is lightly etching the surface it does not create the stresses in the part inherent with impact and mechanical marking. Laser marking is often also referred to as laser etching and laser engraving. ZYCI also provides laser marking services from our facility in Atlanta, Georgia.
